If you want authenticity in any regard, look elsewhere. Unrealistic, melodramatic, predictable, underdeveloped, and overdone. Lost somewhere between The Fighter and Here comes the boom. It has one absolutely beautiful scene between Tom Hardy and Nick Nolte that gives you a glimpse of how beautiful the story could have been.
