  on the second watch thru, I realized this movie goes much deeper than “society beauty standards bad.” This movie is about what internalized shame does to us, and personifies that self-violence in a really visceral way

  the cinematography was so thoughtful! I thought the dreamlike sequence of scenes leading up to the castle was amazing - the lighting and disorientation. 

  Lily rose depp kinda killed it.
