Interesting watch! I appreciated the whole narrative around being able to accept others who are different as well as the perspective shift between man form and bear form. Plus the actual story was decently compelling, too.
Some parts were also really meh for me, like the whole intro part, and surprisingly, most of the music didn't quite hit for me. Only "on my way" really carried me into the film (sorry, Phil Collins!)
"war-adjacent movie" indeed. In fact, you can add to that "musical-adjacent" "comedy-adjacent" and "story-adjacent" to the list, too. That was an experience.
This movie felt like it had ADHD most of the time. It would switch from one thing to the next so quickly - including switching genres. I honestly had trouble following along.
Somehow, though, the constant switching kept me on my toes and entertained. I never really could predict what was going to happen next. I could tell the execution wasn't great, but I still enjoyed myself enough for an evening. Plus Park Hye Su was awesome as usual.

Was trying to watch Mickey 17 and this was playing instead - one hour in and I was still waiting for Robert Pattinson to show up at some point, only to realize I really wasn't watching the right thing at all! That's what I get for sailing the seas, I guess.
