hmm my favorite part was actually the end. crazy how life moved on so quick right after and how insensitive the other families and even classmates of the sisters were only a couple months after their deaths.
also the girls feeling suffocated in the lead up to the suicides and the final party being all about the algae filling the air was a cool touch. it ties us back to cecilias passion for saving the earth while also showing that none of them learned any lessons from the girlsβ deaths.tldr sofia coppola is goated

off topic but im very upset I didn't know this movie existed before doing my film final but whatever this movie is insanefor starters this is one of the freakiest scores i've ever heard, the actors performances in this are literally insane especially raffeyβs as kim and of course barryβs
rewatching in the next 24 hours to see what I missed/didnt understand but most of what I caught is religious allegories and the exchange of gifts from martin to the other characters in the movie
