Poor Things 2023
I actually think one of the biggest boons of this movie is how funny it is. I’m not a big “laugh out loud”er, in private or public, and both the quick dialogue and visual gags (FAKE CARRIAGE HORSE WITH NO LEGS) here got me laughing multiple times (grain of salt because I was with my silly friends)
In terms of the deeper thematic stuff, I’m still thinking about it a full day later. I do believe this movie is feminist…
