I decided to go out on a whim and see a new sci-fi film in 270X, a theatre gimmick that I hadn't seen before. I really liked Gareth Edwards' earlier film Monsters (and I liked Rogue One, but how much of that film is actually his work is unclear), so I was intrigued to see what he could do with a medium sized budget.
