Surprisingly faithful to the video games? Shadow has a motorcycle and a gun, which would’ve made me really happy if I watched this movie as a kid. A pretty solid drunken watch.
Though what the fuck were they doing with the two Jim Carrey’s? It’s like they were trying to make them appeal to children by making a lot of fart jokes and the like, but children don’t really like Jim Carrey.
It’s like if you took an average kinda-boring thriller movie and made it horrible misrepresentation of people with DID. Shyamalan obviously did his research on systems, and like, I genuinely think he could have made it pretty good representation if he wanted to. But ultimately, it’s a horror movie where the only person with DID is the creepy guy trying to sacrifice children, and that fucks up the parts with actually good representation
