This film blew me away to be honest. I had very few expectations and no idea what the movie was going to be about, so blind watching for the first time really took me back a bit. I was definitely impressed with the production, cast, and plot. Production wise, the body horror was so gruesome and gag worthy, it really felt realistic and like they tried to make sure all the senses were assaulted which I love from a horrorβ¦

I Am Cuba 1964
Probably one of the most interesting captivating and thought provoking films Iβve seen. Definitely will probably have to watch it a few times to really understand and analyze it clearly. I loved the anthology style and thought it was an interesting and beautiful way to showcase the diversity of Cuba and the culture.
