  The Silence 1963

  Ingmar Bergman's The silence is indeed a decent film, it manages to make the audience relate to the explored themes in the film without dialogue in majority of scenes through the eyes of a young child who has the curiosity to explore the surroundings. It also deals with the relationship between 2 sisters in a manner like that of his 1966's film Persona. However, I'm still confused why this film is classified as a part of Ingmar's Faith trilogy alongside his 2 masterpieces, Through a glass darkly and Winterlight.

  A visually pleasing film with remarkable use of the color blue,Music is also a unique element in this film which was employed brilliantly. The film was somehow slow with no major events ,but on the other side it is a decent depiction of loss and despair.
