Watching Black Swan, I couldn’t help but be in utter awe at every aspect of the film. The symbolism, the metaphors alluding to the film being a retelling of ‘Swan Lake,’ Natalie Portman’s dedicated acting for a dedicated character. Every single piece of this movie was masterfully done and rewatching it still leaves me shocked at the ending.

Amazing film. The ending was both beautifully done and confusing.
Donnie is basically a self-fulfilling prophecy, in multiple aspects (shooting Frank with his father’s gun, anticipating the vortex theory that ended up having a different timeline kill him, etc.) the whole thing is perfectly out of touch with objective reality that you really have to think twice to appreciate this movie.
