Absolutely transformed the way I think about video games! This documentary is about how a young man bound to a wheelchair with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) was able to find the freedom to be “normal” in the virtual World of Warcraft. We are brought up close and personal with the families, and they didn’t hold anything back. It was like the camera and all the people behind it weren’t even there. I loved that. “Daughters” was emotional, touching, genuine, eye-opening, beautiful… everything you could want from a documentary. It could easily make you cry.
