Female directors. 10/10. That's my review. In all seriousness this movie was perfection. Witty writing and lovable characters created a perfect mixture of nostalgia, humor, and angsty teen experiences. I give this film so much credit for having such sympathetic writing to characters that on the surface have a bad reputation. We love to have our superiority complexes and look down on others who are different from us but in reality we are all complex individuals deserving of empathy. This film will probably go down as my favorite watch of 2021!

Someone Great 2019
Such a great "bad" movie. Sure the plot wasn't all that strong but there were some perfectly executed scenes. Super funny moments and endearing performances from a strong cast. And most importantly there was SUCH great chemistry between these actors! We need more female directors in the industry and it's disheartening to see all the hate on this movie in my opinion. It's a rom com at the end of the day and it's a fun Netflix watch.

The Truman Show 1998
This is such an enjoyable film that really keeps you on your toes. You constantly root for the main character and you feel like your in the story with him. The ending is fantastic and witty with the right amount of philosophical, thought provoking moments and just sheer joy at a happy ending.
