Needed to get back to the films with a cringey bollywood movie about a man yearning. Plus all her outfits ate. Just ignore the sexist patriarchal views and the colorism lol. First time a wedding has happened IN THE ICU. Old shahid rom coms are top tier.

The only thing I liked about this was Hugh Grant and his charming character initially. I also liked his friends and his roommate’s character. Anna character has no personality beyond her being famous which is so lame, but then Will never stands up and is constantly humiliated by Anna and then I’m also annoyed at him. AND THEN THEY get MARRIED??? Give me a break. I guess there are some cute moments but it does not excuse the rest okay.

Haven’t watched a movie in over a month (yes i’m in withdrawal) due to studying and what a movie to come back to. Watching this with a coworker in an empty theater only added to the comedy of the movie. I was laughing nonstop. There was no thriller aspect to this movie though so I don’t know why it is marketed that way lol. I really thought it was going to be more explosive at the end, but it’s interesting to see how it ended with no consequence for Romy.
