  I’m pleased it exists. I’m pleased that it’s ambitious and different and bizarre and eccentric. I’m pleased that Emma Stone, Willem Dafoe, Mark Ruffalo and the rest of the cast are being praised because they’re all really good. I’m pleased it’s doing quite well financially and I’m pleased the screening I was in had lots of people in it.

  It is pretty shit though and ultimately just pretentious guff. Probably just not for me but when I think “Who of the people I know would enjoy this?” I can probably say a maximum of two. And I know people.
