  Not for everyone, love how uncomfortable it makes you feel and Sydney Sweeny was really great, but the scene where they started playing Carol of the Bells really threw me out of it

  It was fun, but it would be cool to see Robert Eggers use his full potential in his next film. The VVitch and The Lighthouse were great, I personally prefer The Lighthouse, but if you enjoyed the VVitch more then you'll like this. The VVitch was a beautifully crafted, but predictable horror movie, and this is a beautifully crafted, but ultimately predictable revenge film. Hopefully with his next project, Eggers will impress and push boundaries again like he did with The Lighthouse

  It took me 3 hours of pausing and breaks to actually finish because the second-hand embarrassment was kILLING me but in a good way.
  One of the most heartfelt moments is two cheesy 13-year-olds bonding over Rick and Morty references. It worked brilliantly.
  Give it a watch to hype yourself up for Promising Young Woman
