When Marnie Was There 2014
Another beautiful movie, Mr. Miyazaki can do no wrong. While it does not hold the same childhood sentimentality, it provides an emotional yet calm exploration of a girls journey to accept herself and her past. I cried maybe just a little at the end, because grandmother-granddaughter relationships just do that to me sometimes.
