Wanted to love this but was really underwhelmed by Anora’s lack of character depth and proper fleshing out as a complex woman with insidious relationships with men and money. Film strips were beautiful though
Meta perfection. The camera follows the action effortlessly, each shot framed to precision. Any movie featuring a Nick Cave song not once but twice gets an A+ in my book. Bumping this up to 5 stars, it is without a flaw.
