  My friend was talking about how in the 90s to early 2000s artists would use TV movies to promote their new albums and what a cool tradition that was. I just love to see the way the medium has shifted in the present. Florence and Haycock demonstrates what I already knew for 10 years as a dedicated fan: the albums she crafts are comprised of songs all connected in a deeply relatable narrative. I absolutely cannot stress how brilliant she is. Haycock’s direction is great, too.
