Pride & Prejudice 2005
sooooo amazing, i forgot how beautiful the cinematography was. the first 20 or so minutes of the movie is so delightful and had me smiling so much, especially the ball scenes. on rewatch i’ve noticed how unusual the bennet family is compared to others which was very endearing to me, i loved how nosy and loud they were. the scene with mr.bennet and lizzie where he realizes she actually loves mr.darcy was so heartwarming. overall just a very comforting movie 🫶🏽

this was so tea, i feel like an indian wedding would be a ballll i wanna be invited to one. i like how it mostly about pia’s personal journey and it just sort of led her to the romantic interest. i was also pleasantly surprised at how they were all chill about jay being gay. overall a very fun watch <3

the cinematography was so striking it set a feeling within you with each shot. just incredibly beautiful. the overt sexuality of the film was something i was fascinated and disgusted by. i was particularly engrossed by the scene where count orlok comes to ellen and she’s simultaneously compelled and nauseated by him as she spews hateful words towards him but drifts closer and closer. and the final shot……robert eggers you did your big one 🙂↕️🙂↕️
