  Compelling enough follow-up to the underrated original film, but I did find some of the special effects to be jarring with how much CGI is used. Hoping they take a big swing on the 3rd movie after the way this one ends

  Pacing got kind of messy in the 3rd act and would've liked more lore to chew on; but in the end Art is still endlessly enjoyable to watch as he does the most mean spirited and violent acts committed to film. The special effects in these movies are almost too good and shows why practical beats CGI when it comes to showing blood and gore.

  Barbarian is a lot of fun to watch, but doesn't leave you a ton to chew on after the movie is over. What you see is what you get and the movie doesn't seem to have a deeper meaning, so it's a good thing what you get is quite enjoyable.

  This movie was a boring cliche slog that has you begging for something interesting to happen. Doesn't really know if it wants to be a traditional haunting movie or an AI haunting movie and doesn't stick the landing in either sense. It was also extremely predictable.
