sai is a location scout manager. oom is an art director. they meet in empty spaces and attempt to imagine the chaos of creation within areas unoccupied. sai takes a million pictures of a single room and a few of oom, even though he dislikes having his picture taken. oom photographs sai only when she doesn’t notice it. this is how they create memory. this is how it will continue to linger, in hard drives, in digital files, even when…

stuck out among shorts d for ending on a sadder note and i appreciate that. we don't always get happy endings. warm motivational encouragement from family or friends runs scarce for many. minsan, sarili lang ang maaasahan natin. we make do with our own strength, no matter how weak or non-existent, and force ourselves to believe that that is enough. and it is. for the timebeing. unless nothing changes. unless palagi na tayong talunan. mahirap talagang mamaluktot kung tila habambuhay nang maikli ang kumot.

thank you for this, sean. always in awe of you!

the use of the word exes in an AUSTEN adaptation should be sacrilegous. the bangs, the beach waves, the boring costumes, dakota's painfully modern presence, the fact that it's a C*MEDY....everything in this film is a personal crime against ME.
