The Matrix Resurrections 2021
I really liked the fourth-wall-breaking first half. I saw much more potential in exploring Neos twisted mind further and concious ai video game shenanigans, I hoped for an unclear resolution whether Neos visions are fake or real. Fully looping back to the matrix 1 plot broke the movie for me. Felt like fan service

Nolan went a little over the top with this one... each single detail of the plot is incredibly well designed to create a convoluted af time travel confusion without any loop holes (afaict).
Unfortunately the movie leaves no room for anything else. Each character is completely flat and you wont find any natural emotion. The movie does not care about humans at all, the protagonist is even just called "the protagonist".Translated from by
