The concept was good but the plot holes were ridiculous. Why do the two “cops” never call for backup? Why isn’t all the evidence turned in? And really? The cop is unable to kill the man that killed his son?? So dumb. Really disappointed in this one.

The Whale 2022
I felt like some parts were a bit too on the nose and cheesy (especially the last 5 seconds of the movie) but overall the film is both devastating and beautiful. I think it’s fair to say that Brendan Fraser and Hong Chau carried this film. I’m not sure it would have been as powerful as it was without them in their roles. Overall though I thought this film was extremely moving and did a fantastic job at helping the audience really sympathize with every character.
