  THIS MOVIE REALLY BREAKS MY HEART aftersun is one of those films that as you leave the cinema, get into your car, and on the drive home, you just sit there in silence reflecting on what you’ve just experienced. the final scene is hammered into my mind in its understated heartbreak. its a movie that i probably won’t watch again. and no, i would not take that as a negative on the movie part. there are plenty of movies i love that i find difficult to ever return to. if you like quiet character studies this is your perfect vacation spot that’s a hidden gem
