How ironic is it that 'gay' literally means happy, but no gay couple portrayed in film has ever been happy?
Huge generalization but the thought just popped into my head.
Other than that, it reminded me a lot of another Belgian movie "Close" and I think I like this one better. I wouldn't say neither of them is plot-driven but the characters in both of them aren't fully portrayed, through dialogue at least. I believe that the characters in this one were explored better and in more depth.
