Anora stopped being about Anora after the first 30 minutes; for a movie titled on the main character, it’s surprisingly lightweight and doesn’t build too much on her actual character.
No doubt that Mikey Madison is superb in this film.
But the screaming Toros and Igor were the highlight for me.
Definitely an easy to watch, a little bit too long, and one that I didn’t like as much as I had anticipated.
