  goddamn, this mf andre is a real yapper. by his first story i was ready to call him pretentious but his obsessing over saint-exupery and the little prince is so me i had to refrain for a bit. pretty brilliant juxtaposition between a man who has fallen victim to the cycle of losing his passion for art post-monetization for survival and a man with enough money to support a rediscovery of himself during a mid-life crisis by escaping across various corners of the world to look for it.

  this could've been THE cult classic sapphic coming of age sports film! and starring a woman of color! the direction they went in all to pair her up with the white coach and have him spit #that dumbass line makes nooo sense. biggest missed opportunity of the 21st century ngl, could've been a 5 star movie. still a sweet film that was really important to me as a kid, but i will be waiting for keira's proposed lesbian sequel.

  nothing more beautifully human than the fingerprints of every talented individual who gave life to these characters pressed into clay, appearing with every new position, proving this creation requiring the blood, sweat and tears of passionate people is an intense labor of love, unable to be recreated by anything less than that.
