A Taste of Killing and Romance may not be the best presentation of assassin movie since Yu-Feng didn't kill in discreet and kind of sloppy (she left witnesses every time she does a job), so TKR didn't do me any justice, story-wise.
However, Lau's role here as the finest, know-it-all, charming hit-man could not be neglected. I bet the director would think of Lau as the first choice to play Ko Sau for his impression of an attractive, self-confidence, yet full of conscience killer. Even his way of wearing his oversize jacket with necessary slow-motion while leaving Yu-Feng at the restaurant is hypnotizing.
