  Watched this for the second time and my rating has definitely gone up. Maybe I needed to be older to fully grasp the meaning and beauty of this film. The characters were so beautifully written and Jo's monologue with her mother hits right in the feels. The contradicting struggle of being a woman, and hating as well as wanting the expectations society sets for you is a fascinating theme in this film and becomes apparent through the amazing script, characters and the acting.
