I just finished this movie. This was a psychology assignment and i submitted it 46 seconds late :) Anyways..Our topic was ‘Mental Disorders and Psychopathology’. We learned that when one’s developed a mental disorder, the responsibility of society is to get along with them and make them feel comfortable even if it is some kind of a delusion..This movie is about Lars who developed what so called in the movie ‘Delusion Disorder’ .

The movie doesn’t give you any promises about a happily ever after really. Just like life. Which makes a lot of sense since this was a real story about a person who’s having sexual identity crises in the early 90s.
They made a great symbolism using the object “car” in order to define toxic masculinity (which is also what we talked about in the class)
