Such abrupt plot shifts, i didn’t notice this phenomenon as much in the first film. One thing you know Zendaya is teaching Timmy how to sand walk (he’s just beginning his training), next thing ya know the Fremen are waging full scale attacks against the empire. kinda whack if ya ask me. Just really weird pacing unlike the first film.

Poor Things 2023
A wonderful take on the platonic, romantic, and sexual relations a woman may engage in as she pleases, free from the backwards confinements of social norms and “high culture”. An excellent portrayal of how a woman may hold herself, her worldview, and the sacredness of her body: independently, investigatively, and righteously. Beautiful insight into the lived experience and subjugation of women to patriarchally-driven norms, while providing a courageous and valiant lead in Emma Stone who sets the bar for how culture should respect women’s autonomy and sacred individuality.
