More interesting if read as a mock-performance art piece with Watkins himself as the main character, whose media-sensitive delusion (the only actual prescient feature of this film) is transfigured into an allegory where the people from his tribe are fighting a literal war for their right to exist, where the odds are stacked against them, where other people have all the weapons and they have nothing, where the truth is deliberately hidden and obscured, and where the system is set up so they will lose. Then suddenly what seemed to be naïf political commentary turns into a fascinating psychodrama within a paranoid mind
