  You can see a progression of expertise from this into Uncut Gems. Fast becoming Directors you can’t miss, the Safdies just have an innate ability in telling stories that just feel like they have gloss of cinema stripped easy taken off so all you’re left with is the dirtiness of the real world. They raise anxiety/stakes and tension so masterfully I’m certain whatever they bring out next will require a Valium just to get through it… and I can’t wait.

  Furthermore, Rob Pattinson is mesmerising, continually making you root for him even though you shouldn’t want too. One of the best actors working today. Period.
