Ellen Hutter: Professor, my dreams grow darker. Does evil come from within us, or from beyond?

Watching this film in the cinema definitely enhances the experience! I thought that the soundtrack was creepy and delivered the disturbing atmosphere throughout the film. The rise and fall in tension throughout the scenes also make you understand the characters’ perspectives and their feelings towards Count Orlok. I also liked the unpredictable nature of the film and Ellen’s character development whilst her husband, Thomas,…

Christine was a horror film which stood out to me from other horrors. The storyline had aspects of comedy, like the analogies made by Darnell and other characters’ dialogue, and a soundtrack which made it even more memorable! Since it was composed by John Carpenter, I liked the fact that it had elements which sounded slightly similar to his 70s slasher film, Halloween. Overall, I thought that the storyline was compelling and I liked seeing Arnie’s character development and how…

“I don’t like violence, Tom. I’m a businessman; blood is a big expense”

The Godfather tells the story of the Corleone family from 1945 to 1955 in New York. The power and influence of Don Vito Corleone is seen immediately in the opening scene of the film at his daughter’s wedding, where he distances himself from his family and helps his clients. The film also shows his son, Michael, and his rise to power in…

Adam Warlock: Why did you save me? I hurt you.
    Groot: I am Groot.
Drax: He said: Everyone deserves a second chance.

The final instalment of The Guardians of the Galaxy franchise was brilliant! It was action-packed and hilarious. Similar to the other Guardians of the Galaxy films, the soundtrack was great and helped to make the film even more enjoyable. I liked the fact that Rocket’s backstory was included, which gave the story a slightly more serious tone.

The film went beyond my expectations and I thought that the cinematography made the film even more memorable, giving the franchise a good finale!
