  The reviews on letterboxd so far are unwarrantedly (is that a word) high. Chemistry between actors good (maybe maayybe just as good as Powell x Sweeney combo). Did we really need the university philosophy professor storyline as a parallel for shifting personas? I think not. American romcoms that maintain relevancy tend to straddle the line between so good and so awful and this one unfortunately is just the latter. 

  Also i wrote way more about this than i originally intended i am just shocked at the reviews for it so far. Perhaps that will change after more people stream it on Netflix in the coming week(s)

  The Brutalist 2024

  So stunning. Could have watched another hour of this movie which i feel like is saying a lot because of its notorious runtime.
