  We Live in Time 2024

  Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield have wonderful chemistry in this, but luckily their great performances aren’t the only thing this film has to offer! It’s well-shot, has a great sense of humor, and is very creative in its overall structure. 

  I really like the ending, but the plot beat right before that leaves me conflicted to this day. I appreciate a film that does that tbh. Overall, this film was like a good soup with an aftertaste I’m still not sure how I feel about. 8/10.

  This film is very cheesy, and has some terrible CGI, but I think Robert Zemeckis cooked up something really special here. I’m a sucker for movies that mostly take place in one location, and I think this movie pulls it off really well!

  Us was an experience. I did not think a movie could simultaneously get better and worse the more I thought about it but that's exactly what this film is. I enjoyed myself overall, one hundred percent. This film has a great score, exceptional acting, well-placed humor, and some genuinely creepy imagery and concepts. But the plot twists the film have made no sense in the context of the universe they set up. I could forgive my gripes if they hadn't explained the rules of the universe more than once, but they totally did that lol.
