Saltburn 2023
Disturbingly thrilling. The plot was fabulously dark with jaw dropping twists that were enough to make you squirm. The symbolism, foreshadowing and playlist are one to be matched in 2024. I have no doubt that Emerald is immensely proud of her cast who deserve a lot of noise for their efforts in making their characters come alive.

Poor Things 2023
An interesting (quite troubling) concept. Struggling to comprehend why all of Bella’s experiences had to lead back to sex, especially early on in the film, when her brain had not yet fully developed. Otherwise, the colour contrast, camera lenses and playful costume choices were refreshing and Emma’s acting was commendable.
