10 Things I Hate About You 1999
10 things I hate about you is a charming blend of comedy and drama/romance. It’s a high school love story. But, I appreciate how flushed out the characters are.
The comedy was a one two punch style. The best of this comes later in the film. Jokes early in the film are pretty low hanging fruit for a late 90s movie, but there are plenty of great comedic moments throughout the story.

Hot Fuzz 2007
Watch this movie every few years. Always refreshing watch. The movie sets up plenty of jokes throughout the first and second acts that have great payoffs in the third. Subtle and visual jokes, such as the evidence locker code being 999 (the uk equivalent to 911), keeps The comedy going, even through the mundane.
