First watch, this is the first movie that I'm logging that was a true half-ass watch haha. I will say, I can certainly appreciate the charm of this movie. While the effects and action are comically cheesy, it just feels neat to look back and see how creative they had to get to get their scenes how they wanted. I couldn't tell you jack shit about the plot but Jet Jaguar good and cockroach man bad.

Overall: loose 7/10, I wanna watch this movie without the dub so I can see how that white actor's Japanese sounds I'm so curious

First watch, had to split this one into parts since I started watching it while super mega eepy and crashed out 3/4 through haha. I liked this one, definitely less than New Moon but better than the first one. It's a bit slow, but I feel it's gonna be the calm before the storm for these next few movies. Kinda like the first Dune movie but not nearly as excruciating lol. I really liked the dialoge scenes toward the end…

So before I watched this movie Omar gave me a Ted talk about how it's damn near the best sci-fi movie of all time, and as much as I slightly hate to admit it, he's spot on. The way the plot opens itself up so vaguely and closes itself up perfectly was astounding, and the acting and cinematography were no different. This movie deserves 5 stars after one watch because it was fucking awesome in every sense of the phrase, and it was worth every second of my watch.

Overall: confident 10/10, will likely ramble about how good it is in the future.
