What a perfect after church watch!! Seriously though this movie is amazing and is a perfect horror movie and is the perfect example of less is more, the atmosphere this movie creates is phenomenal and makes you just feel tense and uncomfortable and unsafe….

Halloween 1978
Finally watched this, i think the score in and of itself deserves this high rating. I don't know of a more classic horror theme than this one. With that I enjoyed the lack of cheap jump scares. The majority of scares were long and drawn out with a build up of tension that didn't go away like it does with jump-scares, in halloween the tension stays. I think more horror can take notes from this movie. It's simple yet effective, cozy but scary.
