So good to be able to see this in cinemas. God the lack of distribution of this film is a shame.
Beautiful, the cinematography, shot choices, and practical effects are something else. The sheer scope of some scenes is something missing from almost every modern film.
The main and supporting cast are riveting and well picked.
Would’ve loved to see more time spent in Roy’s fantasy world to build more coherency, as that world is beautiful beyond measure.
Altogether a unique and wonderful film.

Lacks the perfect characters, script, and influence that make Heat such a masterpiece, but isn’t close behind - borderline perfect action cinema.

I detest these films. Sooo edgy but completely substance-less. Such a pervasive lack of anything to redeem the meaningless darkness of them.
Fully support making films less puritanical - our obsession with violence and shirking from sex in films is backwards and absurd, but this is more regressive than forward, and damages the cause by cheapening it.
Can see no reason to recommend these films, or to watch them again.
God this is a beautiful movie. Great from the first frame.
Frustrating at points - the wrapping up of a key storyline is done too quickly, and exploring the link between two characters more would’ve taken this to the next level, but overall a gorgeous, innovative daydream of parallel stories, comparing the real to the ideal in an intertwined and novel way.
