Absolutely gorgeous movie. The sense of dread, the science fiction concepts, the space visuals - all combine to make a stunning film.
entertaining, but tbh not super funny. while you naturally feel compelled to root for the main couple, i honestly did not feel much kilig. the flash mob scene at the end tho was kinda fun to watch
also, i'm surprised by the severe lack of andy samberg and emma watson
disappointed by the lack of earthquakes
as always, the visuals and music in this movie were spectacular. seeing Suzume's conversation with her aunt at the rest stop and also little Suzume lost after the 2011 earthquake was heartbreaking. however, the first half of the movie or so felt somewhat repetitive and the pacing felt a little off to me. also, the main character fell in love with a chair
