I’m not usually a fan of found film documentary style movies, but at least this one didn’t give me a headache.
I really love how the makers of this film did their research on demonology. Everything including the ending is very similar to real accounts of demonic possession and cult rituals. Deception was found in Nell but also in the community and even in Cotton.
Good character development for the most part. The brother and girl were so likable, you…
One of a small number of movies which deserves 5 stars made post 2000. An immediate classic. Played absolutely brilliantly by DiCaprio (robbed from an Oscar). Not too cerebral that you lose track of what’s going on, yet not too simple that you lack questions at the end. The soundtrack was also phenomenal.
