Lame to have your big take on life be that none of it matters and time passes on anyway. Leaving it open ended is a huge cop out. That kinda pissed me off, artists sitting on a fence is lame.

American Gangster 2007
This was a great watch. A little long and a little bit standard for the kind of movie that it was keeps me from moving it to a 4.5. Great performances and some good moral commentary on what’s seen as upstanding and what’s seen as conspicuous and wrong. A good American story.

Scarface 1983
An absolute powerhouse of a film in terms of plot and characters as well as influence. Holds up incredibly well to the modern day and paints the picture of Miami most people probably see in their heads to this day: coke, clubs, and screaming guys with guns. Fantastic watch.
