Plot was amazingly paced and I thoroughly enjoyed the way every character’s backstory was explored intricately. One of the best character development plots in the film with Dani and the relationships between the characters felt very genuine. Amazing production as well with the set design and sound design.
aster definitely created a monster in midsommar. unnerving, intense and gory, midsommar was a watch which left me on edge for a while. although the plot was novel, it seemed to be forced into the genre of cult_horror at points and was motivated by too much gore for me. however, the cinematography was consistently lovely and the scenic quality of the filming locations was definitely appreciated.

a very thought-provoking portrayal of the social inequalities lying beneath the façade of modern society. bong has successfully created a masterpiece which seeks to unnerve the viewer while providing us with a glimmer of (false?) hope. casting was exceptional and above all, amazing cinematography in this piece.
"#alive" follows the widely successful "train to busan" as another well-produced korean zombie movie. the plot was definitely interesting and intense with a good portrayal from the male lead. personally, this plot lacked more context on the emergence of the zombie apocalypse in the first place and i felt it could have done better with a deeper development of the female protagonist. it leaves space to be improved but was still a very satisfying watch.
