In the midst of a barrage of negativity I will definitely say this movie  far exceeds my expectations. To get a few negative things out the way. The music is pretty awful but the main soundtrack which is also used in the original Lion King is phenomenal and elevates the film. Timon and Pumba are a bit annoying and the pacing of this story does need work. Whether it’s the beginning parts of Mufasa’s journey or Scar’s descent into darkness.…

This franchise just gets it. We are once again on a fun adventure as the series of characters in this universe expands. The threat is well established earlier and characters arcs are dealt very well. This film plays to some cliches but it isn’t distracting at all due to how well they executed the film. Post credits also very exciting. Hope they keep producing good quality films. One of the few franchise that does this.

A huge drop off from the first Kingsman, however has arguably one of the best death scenes in movies ever, it is sad, funny, heroic all at the same time. Saves the movie singlehandedly.

4.5 stars was given here but it could have easily been a 5. The first guy ritchie film I’ve ever seen and he definitely has a very distinctive directorial style with the fast paced, quipy and quirky dialogue. The first half and hour of the film is a bit boring and confusing but after that the movie just moves at a breakneck speed. All the actors are phenomenal here especially Hugh Grant. The story is easy to follow after the first 30 minutes and a fun watch to pass your time. The film is really British with British humor and an all British cast.
