“bad things are gonna happen. It makes us who we are.”
The animation and voice acting are perfection, the story is constantly enthralling, the comedy lands consistently and the ending is one of the best cliff hangers I’ve ever seen.

Thor was about as good as I remember. I don’t love this movie but it’s not bad either. Hemsworth is charming and of course perfect in this role. It’s a little over cheesy but the comedy worked for me. This is the weakest in the MCU rewatch so far.

Another very good installment in phase one of the MCU. Much like Iron Man 2, I didn’t remember loving this movie but it’s awesome!

Emotional and devastating, The Iron Claw has a tragic story that’s brilliantly told. The direction and performances paint a clear picture of characters refusing to show emotion on the surface while being incredibly vulnerable under the facade. Efron is incredible here. It was baffling to me that he could show so much, while doing so little. Until the end of the film, every emotion the character was feeling was always sitting just under the surface. As an audience member you…
