    Ugh. Mediocre cinematic universe continues.

Anthony Mackie has solid charisma to keep the haphazard script alive. But WOW - what a disastrous script lol. Why am I caring about Hulk villain from 2008???? Weak story setup. Give us more Bucky. Give us more connection to the greater story.

    Just left annoyed.

Two of the best male performances of the year hands down. Absolutely entrancing watching Stan and Strong in these roles.

The pacing was a bit off at moments, but overall was an easy watch.

Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer is a remarkably immersive epic, revolving around the devastating story of the atomic bomb. Through perfect pacing and editing, Nolan zeroes in on what makes his movies and his voice so unique.

Stand out performances from Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt and Robert Downey Jr help to deliver what is arguably one of Nolan’s best scripts. I was entranced, but most importantly left the theater questioning everything, in the best way. (Shout out @ludwiggoransson as always).

Will be rewatching this week and have a lot more to say, but WOW.

I love anything Taika Waititi makes, so I admit my bias. I had a lot of fun with this. Chris Hemsworth’s charisma paired with Bale’s immaculate character acting kept me fully engaged the whole time.

Phase 4 has me tapping my feet, however, waiting for things to start connecting and more large scale events to happen. I miss that.

But overall. I laughed a lot. Got emotional. Dropped my jaw at epic sequences. Overall a good time. Ragnarok is better, however. I get very annoyed at comparisons like that but alas.
