Anora is a story that honestly couldn’t be told any differently. A switch up Cinderella story that keeps the audience on their toes from beginning to end. This movie feels like Mike Mignola directed a low budget indie film to allow his creation to come to life. Although I believe that Ron Pearlman was made for this role, Jack Kesy has done a great job with the role. Kept my attention the almost 2 hour run. Highly recommend for those who like the franchise.

Nausicaä is one of the most beautiful films I have ever seen. HOWEVER, it is a VERY slow burn. The world building is great once you have gone through the drudge. About half way through the movie, the story picks up and the audience understands why they are there. The story picks up and the action is incredible. Nausicaä is a great hero but a slow burn from the jump.

Sony Pictures consistently puts out great movies but this one takes the cake. This is what makes me happy to be a Spider-Man fan. This is what it means when Guillermo Del Toro said “Animation is Cinema”. The hype around this movie was completely valid (maybe a little too much consumerism- I’m looking at you BK), but one of my favorite movies of the year.
