Good camera work and set up for jump scares. Not too cliche as horror movies go. Hardly any gore. Heavily relies on edge of your seat moments to build tension. Different enough from the original two that it holds a place in your mind but still easy to remember that it’s set in the same universe. Worth a watch for a heartfelt story and crisp visuals. I would recommend seeing it in dolby atoms like i did to really appreciate the sound design.
